Language Operations (AI)

Location: Singapore; remote-first, work-from-home arrangement may vary depending on the role and team; based in UTC+8 or comfortable collaborating with global teams across time zones.

What you will do

• Use AI-assisted quality reviews, compliance checks, automated quality gates, and other AI-driven localization workflows.
• Test new AI features and workflows, provide feedback to product developers, and help convert manual steps into automated workflows and AI agents.
• Own ad-hoc translation requests from requirements clarification through vendor briefing, deliverable review, and on-time delivery.
• Provide first-line support, troubleshoot issues, escalate complex cases, and maintain accurate internal documentation.
• Support linguists, vendors, and internal teams by clarifying source content, deadlines, tools, and instructions.
• Contribute to broader team projects and take on increasing responsibility while developing toward localization project management.

Requirements

• Final-year student or graduate within the last 12 months, available full-time.
• Degree in progress or completed in Translation & Interpretation or Linguistics; a Translation/Interpretation degree is strongly preferred.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Service mindset with fast responses, proactive updates, and reliable follow-through.
• Exceptional organization and the ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines.
• Meticulous attention to detail, including checking languages, files, and deadlines.
• Working knowledge of translation memory, glossaries, and style guides in professional translation.
• Comfort with DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, and PDF; JSON/XML knowledge is a plus.
• Sound judgment about when to resolve issues independently and when to escalate.
• Confidence working remotely with chat-based tools.

Nice to have

• Fluency in Chinese or another language supported by Binance.
• Hands-on experience with CAT tools such as Trados, memoQ, or Phrase, or with a TMS.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Hands-on translation, editing, or interpreting experience through internships, freelance work, or academic projects.
• Experience in customer support, project coordination, or working with vendors and freelancers.
