Sr Operations Engineer (Foundry) (Semiconductor)

hirify.global develops and manufactures semiconductor products and works with wafer foundry partners.

What you will do

• Work with wafer foundries to support the supply chain and coordinate key new technology development and NPI projects.
• Review factory manufacturing data and project progress to keep wafer deliveries and new technology or product projects on track.
• Take immediate action to contain potential excursions or scrap events that could disrupt the supply chain, followed by recovery activities.
• Manage production WIP status, yield, and KPIs on a regular basis.
• Support foundry partners with yield enhancement plans, NPI and tape-out activities, and process-related issue resolution.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or Industrial Management.
• At least 5 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, device engineering or NPI, process integration, or yield enhancement for CMOS or discrete MOSFET processes.
• Knowledge of discrete semiconductors.
• Experience supporting R&D projects, process transfer, yield enhancement, and process development.
• SPC, 8D, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work with matrixed, cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
