What you will do
- Introduce new passive, discrete, connector, semiconductor, and other electronic components.
- Review and approve datasheets, create new part numbers, and qualify second-source components.
- Manage component lifecycles, including multi-source compliance and end-of-life activities.
- Review bills of materials and support component cost optimization.
- Design portions of electrical and electronic hardware solutions in accordance with specifications and requirements.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, sourcing teams, suppliers, outsourced development partners, and ODMs.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs or masterβs degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Typically 0β2 years of experience.
- Understanding of electronic components and their electrical and mechanical specifications.
- Understanding of component lifecycle management, qualification, reliability concepts, and supply chain considerations.
- Experience with or understanding of electrical design tools and software packages.
- Mastery of English and the local language, along with good written and verbal communication skills.
