Production Planner

Location: Malaysia - Penang (MCHP)

What you will do

• Review MRP outputs and manage supply, demand, purchase orders, and production orders with Contract Manufacturers.
• Monitor order execution, delivery schedules, demand changes, finished goods availability, and shipment readiness.
• Reconcile consigned inventory, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate warehouse goods receipt transactions.
• Coordinate RMA, rework, conversion, and disposition activities through timely closure.
• Maintain ERP transactions, planning parameters, order records, and reporting data integrity; generate weekly operational reports.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and Contract Manufacturers to resolve production issues, support urgent customer requirements, and improve processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in Production Planning, Material Planning, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, or a related function.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good understanding of MRP, production planning, and inventory management concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail orientation, high accuracy, teamwork, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Contract Manufacturers.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
