Senior Production Planner (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru, Malaysia

What you will do

• Review Oracle MRP and related planning applications to respond to demand changes, safety stock requirements, and master production schedules.
• Manage SIOP and R&O meetings for assigned product lines.
• Create and release production orders while considering completion dates, component availability, capacity, and resource constraints.
• Analyze late deliveries and identify root causes to support corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor inventory levels, optimize manufacturing sequences, and maintain sufficient component and finished-goods stock.
• Support quality management, continuous improvement, and waste-reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in a manufacturing plant, ideally in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong knowledge of production planning and scheduling processes.
• Experience with production planning software, ERP systems, and analytical production data.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods.
• Ability to work onsite in Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
