Financial Data Analyst (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States, or hybrid from Williamsburg, NY or Santa Monica, CA.

Salary: $125,000–$170,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Build, maintain, and automate recurring Finance dashboards and reports.
• Reconcile data across production systems, Salesforce, Rillet, Metabase, and financial reporting, investigating discrepancies.
• Own data models supporting invoicing, revenue reporting, collections, fee payments, refunds, and forecasting.
• Coordinate system changes and maintain consistent identifiers, definitions, and sources of truth.
• Design data quality controls and alerts to detect upstream issues, logic changes, and unusual movements.
• Partner with Finance and other business teams to turn ambiguous questions into actionable analysis.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Financial Data Analyst or in an analytics role.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Experience building dashboards with Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Professional experience analyzing financial data, not only product or usage data.
• Strong analytical skills, clear communication, and the ability to explain insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

• Experience supporting Finance, Operations, or Revenue teams with reporting.
• Experience in healthcare, healthcare payments, or another regulated environment.
