Senior Data Analyst (BigQuery/Power BI)

What you will do

• Write and maintain complex SQL in BigQuery across campaign and CRM data sources.
• Reconcile datasets and perform schema, sanity, and data-quality checks before analysis and reporting.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards with clear sources, methodology, limitations, and business-focused conclusions.
• Investigate discrepancies such as join mismatches, ID-format inconsistencies, and ingestion gaps to identify root causes.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and answer questions about the analysis independently.
• Make routine analytical decisions autonomously, document reasoning, and escalate genuine blockers early.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst.
• Experience writing complex SQL against large, multi-table datasets.
• Investigative approach to tracing discrepancies across joins and data sources.
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Power BI or a similar visualization tool.
• Ability to work remotely from the United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Experience with BigQuery or another cloud data warehouse.
• Familiarity with Python.
• Interest in academic publishing and marketing measurement.
