Senior People Partner (SaaS)

Location: Remote in Canada

Salary: CAD 112,000–175,000 per year; most new hires join at CAD 133,000 annually.

What you will do

• Act as a strategic and hands-on People Partner for Marketing, Product, and Design, supporting team members at every level and working closely with the CMO, VP of Product, and VP of Design.
• Shape hiring plans, succession strategies, and organizational design as the functions grow and evolve.
• Guide individuals and teams through changes in strategy, processes, and structure, providing tools and support for resilient adaptation.
• Contribute to career frameworks and programs covering onboarding, performance, development, and employee engagement.
• Support leaders and employees through team dynamics, interpersonal challenges, difficult feedback conversations, and career growth.
• Use AI in daily work and build agents to handle recurring tasks while contributing to broader People initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of People or HR experience, including at least 5 years as a People Partner or HR Business Partner.
• Ability to solve people challenges with creative, tailored solutions rather than relying on rigid policies.
• Strong trust-building skills and the ability to navigate relationships from executives to new hires with confidence, humility, and authenticity.
• Understanding of business operations and ability to align People strategies with business goals.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and find solutions in uncertain situations.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, including adapting messages to different audiences and leading challenging conversations with empathy and directness.
• Ability to identify patterns and trends and use observations to drive broader team impact.
• Comfort working in fast-moving, evolving environments where change is the norm.
• Willingness to ask for help and use available resources to better support internal customers.
