People Business Partner (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, with in-person work required 3+ days per week

Salary: $180K–$230K annually, plus equity

What you will do

• Partner strategically with leadership to translate business priorities into people initiatives and surface organizational risks and opportunities.
• Advise management on organizational design, succession planning, performance, retention, engagement, and headcount planning.
• Build management capability through hiring frameworks, expectation setting, feedback, team development, and leadership support.
• Drive performance and talent management, including role architecture, career pathing, promotion readiness, retention, and development strategies.
• Navigate investigations, performance exits, organizational changes, and other high-stakes people matters with sound judgment and risk awareness.
• Partner with People Operations, Compensation, Finance, Talent, and Workplace Experience on employee lifecycle processes, compensation strategy, planning, and office needs.

Requirements

• 6+ years of progressive People Business Partner experience across multiple functions and management levels.
• Experience supporting organizations with 400+ employees through rapid growth.
• Expertise in organizational design, performance management, talent strategy, and leadership development.
• Strong business judgment, analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to operate in ambiguous, high-growth environments.
• Ability to work in person at least 3 days per week in San Francisco.
