Company
Nscale is a vertically integrated AI cloud company operating energy infrastructure, data centers, GPU superclusters, orchestration, and AI services across Europe and the US.
What you will do
Own cost reporting for OFCI power and cooling equipment, including generators, UPS systems, power distribution units, switchgear, transformers, busway, hot aisle containment, chillers, and CRAH/FWU units.
Define normalized cost and performance metrics, report budget versus committed versus actual spend, track price variance, savings, cost avoidance, cash flow, and total landed cost.
Build supplier performance reporting, scorecards, review cadences, and forecasting methodologies covering delivery, lead times, quality, responsiveness, commitments, supply, and demand.
Design dashboards and reliable reporting datasets by consolidating ERP, source-to-pay, project management, and supplier-system data; automate recurring reporting and maintain documentation and data dictionaries.
Standardize sourcing trackers, RFP and event reporting, bid tabulations, cost comparisons, award summaries, and status reports across category sourcing and supply chain.
Produce executive reporting packages, support category and capital business reviews, train stakeholders, and improve reporting based on feedback.
Requirements
8+ years of progressive experience in procurement analytics, supply chain analytics, category management support, cost engineering, or FP&A, including end-to-end ownership of a reporting workstream.
Experience building cost reporting and performance metrics for capital equipment or engineered-to-order goods, where cost is driven by configuration, commodity inputs, and lead time rather than catalog pricing.
Experience developing supplier performance metrics, scorecards, and review cadences.
Advanced Excel modeling skills and proven ability to build and maintain production dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
Experience turning supplier quotes, bid tabulations, ERP extracts, and project schedules into reporting trusted and used by stakeholders.
Experience reviewing supplier forecasts against demand requirements and quantifying capacity and lead-time risk.
Understanding of data center construction timelines, equipment lead times, and project delivery requirements.
Strong executive communication skills, including explaining variance, risk, and trade-offs to senior leaders and defending reporting methodology.
Proficiency with procurement and project systems, including ERP, e-sourcing, contract management, and project management tools.
Nice to have
Advanced degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or analytics, or CPSM, CIPS, or CPM certification.
Experience in hyperscale data center construction or mission-critical facility builds, including OFCI/CFCI cost and risk allocation.
SQL proficiency and experience partnering with data engineering teams on pipelines and data models.
Hands-on experience with SAP, Coupa, Ariba, Procore, Smartsheet, or Anaplan.
Technical familiarity with medium-voltage and low-voltage power distribution, backup power, and air-cooled, liquid-cooled, or evaporative cooling.
Familiarity with commodity index tracking, price escalation clauses, and moving analytics from manual reporting to automation.
Culture & Benefits
Remote-first and flexible workplace with autonomy over the working day.
Collaborative, supportive, innovative environment focused on ownership, accountability, openness, and transparency.
Competitive package with base salary and equity, with compensation reviews every 12 months.
Potential bonus, equity, and/or commission programs, plus medical, dental, vision, flexible paid time off, parental leave, and retirement plan participation.
Progression plan with opportunities to lead, challenge the status quo, and expand responsibilities.
