Business Consultant Intern (AI)

Location: Ottawa, Canada office at least three days a week

Salary: CAD 19.46–28.55 per hour

What you will do

• Build and maintain Maestro demonstration environments, including sample data sets, scenarios, workbooks, and dashboards.
• Research prospective customers and industries to identify supply chain challenges and business drivers.
• Support discovery sessions, product demonstrations, executive briefings, RFPs, and RFIs.
• Analyze demand, supply, inventory, and capacity data to model customer scenarios and quantify business value.
• Create presentations, value stories, and reusable demonstration assets.
• Explore AI and automation approaches for faster demo building and pre-sales work.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in full-time education or be a recent/upcoming graduate within 12 months of the placement end date.
• Post-secondary studies in supply chain, operations, business analytics, industrial engineering, sales, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and experience working with data in Excel or similar tools.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas simply.
• Curiosity about supply chains and technology, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Full-time 8- or 12-month placement starting January 2027; Ottawa office attendance is required at least three days per week.

Nice to have

• Coursework or project experience in demand planning, S&OP, inventory management, or production planning.
• Exposure to SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, ERP, or supply chain planning software.
• Presentation experience through case competitions, client projects, or student clubs.
• Previous co-op, internship, consulting, operations, or customer-facing experience.
