Business Operations Manager (Finance & Analytics)

Location: Remote in the US, Canada, or UK

Salary: US base salary of $150,000–$200,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.

hirify.global's Finance & Analytics team provides the authoritative view of business performance for internal decision-making and external investor, audit, and tax obligations.

What you will do

• Lead analytical projects that improve how the business is measured and understood.
• Establish authoritative definitions for key metrics, including ARR, and investigate changes in business data.
• Evaluate the health of sales and marketing funnels and analyze relationships between product initiatives, expansion, and churn.
• Own a finance operations domain such as Accounting or Tax, including operational work and oversight of external specialists.
• Automate operational and compliance workflows to make finance processes more reliable and efficient.
• Lead cross-functional projects addressing operational problems across the business.

Requirements

• Based in the US, Canada, or UK.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a high-growth startup.
• Strong quantitative undergraduate degree.
• Experience with financial modeling, statistical analysis, reviewing external methodologies, or transforming raw data.
• Systems-thinking approach, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Ability to learn specialist domains quickly and manage external vendors effectively.

Nice to have

• SQL experience.
• Analytics engineering experience.
• MBA.
• Familiarity with accounting principles or coursework.
