Business Performance Lead (AI)

Location: Austin, United States; hybrid work model

Salary: $0–$115,000 gross annually for Austin. Compensation for other locations is discussed during the interview process.

What you will do

• Map and audit cross-functional workflows using cycle times, touch times, error rates, and other operational baselines.
• Deploy low-code, SaaS, and GenAI automations while maintaining regulatory and quality compliance.
• Establish SLAs, operational benchmarks, escalation paths, and a centralized Metric Dictionary.
• Build reporting structures, interim data pipelines, BI infrastructure, and executive dashboard suites.
• Lead the company-wide OKR framework, monthly performance reviews, and quarterly business reviews.
• Drive root-cause analysis, strategic projects, operational playbooks, change management, and training adoption.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in BizOps, Business Performance, Strategy & Operations, or Management Consulting in high-growth scale-ups.
• Experience with baseline setting, value-stream mapping, metric definition, process optimization, and workflow design.
• Practical experience with low-code tools such as Zapier or Make, SaaS tools, and AI integrations.
• Strong quantitative skills, including SQL, operational and financial modeling, and BI platforms such as Tableau or Looker.
• Experience managing operations spanning the US and Europe.
• Outstanding English communication skills and the ability to advise senior leaders, challenge decisions, and lead organizational change.

• Experience in Healthtech, life sciences, or another regulated industry.
• International management consulting experience.
• Experience leading procurement, audit, or compliance-preparation projects.
• Familiarity with change management frameworks and training program design.
