Process Excellence Manager (Lean Six Sigma)

Location: Hybrid in Fort Worth or Arlington, Texas, United States; 3 days per week in the office. Candidates who require visa sponsorship cannot be considered.

What you will do

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across GM Protection operational processes.
• Facilitate Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and improvement workshops to deliver measurable operational outcomes.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, and Kaizen methods to identify opportunities and implement efficiencies.
• Guide the development, maintenance, and governance of SOPs, work instructions, process designs, and reengineering initiatives.
• Partner with the Business Process Center of Excellence, legal, compliance, Technology, and Data teams on methodology, regulatory readiness, automation, reporting, and change governance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and management to represent customer and business needs and improve operational value.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience, including managing complex non-IT projects and process design or process improvement.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience applying Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma methodologies in live business or operational environments, with demonstrated results.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of operational excellence, continuous improvement, auditing, and process governance concepts.
• Working knowledge of F&I Protection products and dealer-supported operational models.
• Ability to apply strategic thinking and lead complex process improvement or strategic transformation initiatives.
• Experience communicating effectively, using active listening, presenting to senior leadership, simplifying complex information, and developing clear communications and advanced presentation materials for varied audiences.
• Ability to analyze process data and use data visualization tools and techniques to describe process behavior and summarize data clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Nice to have

• 1+ years supporting management with operational procedure or policy documentation.
• Experience with business architecture modeling software such as Nintex Process Manager or Visio.
• Process Design or Process Improvement certification.
• Project Management Professional certification.
