Clean Energy Manager (Transportation Electrification)

Location: Pomona, California, US; hybrid work with required reporting to an SCE facility for a set number of days, remote work on remaining days, and residence in California. Up to 25% travel and field work throughout the SCE service territory. Relocation does not apply.

Salary: $161,700–$242,600 per year.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, supervise, and develop project managers overseeing clean energy and distribution projects.
• Direct projects through scoping, estimating, budgeting, planning, design, permitting, construction, commissioning, monitoring, and closeout.
• Own portfolio forecasts, budgets, funding constraints, financial tracking, delivery reporting, and regional unit and spend targets.
• Implement and improve project intake, prioritization, governance, change-order, technical-submittal, and document-control processes.
• Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, and corrective actions while coordinating engineers, technicians, contractors, and support staff.
• Provide strategy, execution plans, technical assessments, stakeholder alignment, and concise performance updates to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Five or more years of combined experience performing or supervising project management.
• Experience managing electric transmission and/or distribution projects.
• Ability to protect physical, financial, cybersecurity, customer, proprietary, medical, and other sensitive company information with high standards of conduct and integrity.

Nice to have

• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Microsoft SharePoint, and WorkIT.
• Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects under tight timelines with minimal oversight.
• Experience directing small to medium projects, including cost, scope, resource, vendor, planning, tracking, and performance reporting management.
• Ability to integrate related work, improve customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks and safety, develop and execute business plans, and serve internal and external customers.
• Experience with service planning principles, overhead and underground construction standards, and collaboration across clients, peers, project personnel, and management.
• Experience developing and delivering technical presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
