Project Manager (Electrical Construction)

Location: Portland, Oregon, United States; Workplace: On-site

Salary: $115,000–$180,000 annually, plus a discretionary year-end bonus.

What you will do

• Lead 3–5 concurrent commercial electrical construction projects with annual portfolios typically ranging from $3.5M to $5M.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, cash flow, cost reporting, schedules, materials, production, and financial targets.
• Oversee contracts, project documentation, claims, disputes, change orders, scope changes, and compliance with General Contractor requirements.
• Coordinate with estimating and procurement teams on estimates, project turnover, competitive bids, purchasing, and equipment tracking.
• Build customer relationships and coordinate with owners, General Contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and project staff.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and field staff while maintaining safety, quality assurance, and project performance standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field; equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of project management experience in commercial electrical construction, including responsibility for multiple concurrent projects and $3.5M–$5M+ annual portfolios.
• Strong financial and contract management experience covering budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, change orders, claims resolution, cost control, and contract administration.
• Experience working with General Contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and owners while developing long-term customer relationships.
• Knowledge of resource-loaded schedules, look-ahead planning, project forecasting, document management systems such as Viewpoint, estimating, and procurement.
• Leadership experience mentoring project teams, with knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety practices, quality assurance, and risk management.
