Contract Manager (Renewable Energy)

Location: Hybrid role based in Louisville, Colorado, United States; other listed locations include Arlington, Virginia, and Salt Lake City, Utah. Travel to project locations up to 30% is required.

Salary: $145,000–$181,050 per year, plus an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Develop contract strategies and compile EPC contract documents for construction RFPs.
• Evaluate contractor proposals and lead negotiations with EPC partners.
• Coordinate legal, commercial, technical, and project stakeholders through contract approval and execution.
• Manage contractual claims, disputes, settlements, negotiation presentations, and term sheets.
• Develop dispute-prevention strategies, track contractual risks, and advise project teams on contractor performance.
• Support project turnover from construction to operations and capture lessons learned for future negotiations.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, project management, construction management, legal studies, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction project management, contract management, claims management, or a related role.
• Experience with construction and supply contracts, including on-site experience.
• Experience with utility-scale solar, battery storage, and wind projects, including relevant technical standards.
• Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, organization, project planning, and executive reporting skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.

• Master’s degree.
• Experience with contractor qualification processes and cross-functional project teams.
