What you will do

• Perform fault isolation and defect analysis/characterization on power ICs to identify root causes of failures.
• Conduct investigations for product failures in power supply applications and production tests.
• Prepare comprehensive technical reports for external customers based on investigation findings.
• Develop and provide corrective actions for internal and external customers.
• Communicate results to drive enhancements in product design, process technology, and applications.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• BS in Electronic Engineering or equivalent discipline (MSEE preferred).
• In-depth understanding of digital and analog circuits, device physics, and IC fabrication processes.
• Ability to interpret IC ATE test data logs, system-level/IC schematics, and IC layouts for CMOS and bipolar devices.
• Hands-on expertise with tools: ATE, curve trace, nano/micro-probing, OBIRCH/EMMI, CSAM, XRAY, FIB, and SEM/EDX.
• Proficiency in manual cross-sectioning and deprocessing techniques (parallel-polishing and wet chemical etch).
