What you will do

• Formulate and apply machine learning, causal and time-series forecasting, econometric, and mathematical optimization methods for complex business analyses.
• Collect, clean, organize, and structure large structured and unstructured datasets; identify variability drivers and integrate new features into production code.
• Perform data and error analysis to improve model accuracy, robustness, and performance.
• Evaluate and introduce advanced analytical tools, methodologies, and technologies.
• Lead and mentor interns, co-ops, analysts, engineers, and associate data scientists.
• Build and maintain business intelligence dashboards and communicate quantitative findings to technical and executive stakeholders while collaborating across operational, technical, and business units.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Decision Science, Management Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, or a closely related quantitative field.
• At least 3 years of applied professional experience designing, developing, and deploying analytical models, or an equivalent combination of advanced education and targeted experience.
• Comprehensive proficiency in data mining, advanced mathematics, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning platforms such as AzureML, process automation tools such as MS Power Automate, and application development platforms such as Power Apps.
• Advanced programming and data querying skills in Python, SQL, and R.
• Experience with business intelligence and data visualization platforms such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Demonstrated leadership and managerial experience, coaching ability, conceptual thinking, creative problem-solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Doctoral degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience applying advanced analytical approaches in theme parks, resorts, hospitality, retail, or entertainment operations.
• Experience supporting continuous 24/7/365 operational environments and high-demand business cycles.
