Senior Data Scientist (AI)

Location: Peoria, Illinois, United States; onsite five days a week. Relocation is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $112,710–$183,140 per year

What you will do

• Translate complex business questions into technical requirements for flexible, sustainable data products.
• Assess gaps in business processes and data assets and recommend new data products and automations.
• Partner with data engineers, data scientists, analysts, and internal business customers across the Construction Industries segment.
• Lead the development of junior data scientists and citizen developers by creating guides, resources, and implementation standards.
• Develop actionable, visually engaging reports and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI.

Requirements

• Professional experience in data analytics or data science.
• Strong skills in SQL, Python, dashboards, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Snowflake, or cloud data services.
• Experience applying data analytics, automation, data science, and AI to business performance outcomes.
• Knowledge of business assessment, requirements analysis, research analysis, and data structure development.
• Strong communication, collaboration, accuracy, attention to detail, and project management skills.
• Experience with Power BI data modeling and visualization; 5+ years of business insights and automation experience is preferred.

Nice to have

• Intermediate to advanced understanding of Python or another object-oriented programming language.
• Experience working with ambiguous environments, changing requirements, and conflict.
• Experience with project charters, scheduling, and project planning.
