Operations Transformation Director (AI)

Location: New York, NY, United States; hybrid work with in-person attendance required at least three days per week at a company office or client site. Travel is expected up to 35–40%, occasionally up to 80%.

Base salary: $197,800–$255,904 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and implement operations modernization, operational efficiency, digital and AI-enabled operations management, product modernization, and organizational change initiatives.
• Design and execute enterprise cost reduction programs for corporate clients and private equity-sponsored portfolio companies.
• Manage engagements, including project delivery, delegation, financials, deliverable quality, client relationships, performance reviews, and delivery risk remediation.
• Apply change and transformation methods, data, analytics, operations design, and fintech to improve operational performance and convert analytics into actionable insights.
• Develop solution content, whitepapers, thought leadership, proposals, and business development pursuits.
• Manage, develop, train, coach, and mentor project staff while assessing performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Data & Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function serving cross-industry clients at a national level.
• Professional certification in a relevant field, such as Lean Six Sigma, Master Black Belt, Black Belt, Green Belt, Certified Supply Chain Professional, or Certified Turnaround Professional.
• Client project delivery experience across multiple industry sectors, including Manufacturing, Financial Services, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Energy, Transportation & Distribution, Construction, and Retail.
• Experience with business performance analysis, target operating model design and transformation, operational efficiency and control, process improvement and design automation, enterprise cost reduction, sourcing and procurement, complex supply chain optimization, or turnarounds of distressed companies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel as needed, with expected travel of up to 35–40% and occasional travel of up to 80%.
