Principal Process Architect (Finance Transformation)

Base pay: $215,000–$291,000 per year in Mountain View

What you will do

• Define and refine an enterprise-wide transformation roadmap aligned with Core Finance priorities.
• Lead cross-functional programs from requirements definition through delivery, managing timelines, quality, budget, and business and technical objectives.
• Streamline inefficient finance processes and replace manual work with automated capabilities.
• Design scalable financial solutions with IT and Finance stakeholders across ERP, SaaS, and custom finance applications.
• Reconcile high-volume transaction data, identify discrepancy root causes, and architect controlled workflows for detection and resolution.
• Lead stakeholder decision support, AI and automation enablement, change communications, engagement, and training for transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including deep expertise in financial systems, processes, and large-scale transformation projects.
• Subject matter expertise in Record-to-Report, Fixed Assets, Source-to-Pay, and direct and indirect tax.
• Ability to connect end-to-end Core Finance process design with data models, AI and automation, technology, planning, forecasting, and budgeting dependencies.
• Experience orchestrating large-scale, multi-year finance transformation programs and managing dependencies between ERP or SaaS implementations and business process re-engineering.
• Expert understanding of accounting principles, including US GAAP and IFRS, and their application in systems environments.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into scalable system architecture.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional senior leaders using data and insights.
• Ability to lead large-scale change initiatives, operate without boundaries, and align teams with business strategy.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree, MBA, or professional certification such as CPA or PMP.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM Cloud modules.
• Experience in technology and fintech industries.
• Formal training and experience in project management and change management methodologies.
