Graduate - Legal Intern (AI)

Location: New York, USA; eligible employees may work remotely one day per week.

Salary: $35/hour.

What you will do

• Conduct short-term and long-term research on existing Legal department projects.
• Participate in weekly meetings and track action steps and progress for major assignments.
• Support legal review and advisement for media, social responsibility, partnerships, corporate, finance, compliance, and intellectual property projects involving the hirify.global and its affiliate leagues.
• Draft or support drafting youth basketball safety compliance policies and manuals, equity deals, player appearance agreements, and data privacy materials.
• Participate in meetings, document drafting, and objective legal analysis for business units and constituent teams.
• Apply foundational AI technology knowledge to project execution and business objectives.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a JD program is required.
• Strong project management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent academic and professional achievement.
• Outstanding written and oral presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
• Strong commitment to quality work product, organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, leadership demonstrated through relevant extracurricular or community activities, and foundational mastery of AI technologies.

• Previous law firm or legal experience.
