Location: Hybrid position working in the Rochester, New York office, United States.

Salary: $35.00–$45.00 per hour.

Constellation Brands operates an in-house Legal Department supporting legal matters across the business.

What you will do

• Research legal topics and analyze legal issues, including beverage alcohol and intellectual property matters.
• Review and draft contracts and prepare internal and external communications.
• Support the development of policies, training materials, checklists, and guidelines.
• Participate in special projects and interact with various departments across the organization.
• Communicate strategically with all levels of the Legal Department and other departments.

Requirements

• Be a current law student enrolled in an ABA-accredited J.D. program and expected to have completed the first year of law school by the internship start date in May 2027.
• Have proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Have legal research experience with an emphasis on organization and multitasking.
• Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and problem-solving capabilities.
• Work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.
• Show commitment to growing and enhancing skills and knowledge.
• Demonstrate high energy and a strong work ethic.

• Be able to sit and/or stand for long periods and work on a computer for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with legal technology and artificial intelligence tools.
