Logistics Coordinator

Location: Emeryville, California, United States; in-person

Salary: $25.20–$34.65 per hour

What you will do

• Enter purchase and sales orders into the Sage accounting program.
• Receive products, verify descriptions, quantities, temperatures, and damage, and record receipts.
• Store products according to product inserts and prepare and apply labels.
• Prepare daily domestic and international shipping documents, including certificates of analysis, data sheets, and invoice edit reports.
• Prepare customer-specific shipping documents and maintain inventory of boxes, cold packs, and other shipping materials.
• Communicate with customers, freight forwarders, and government agencies to facilitate product imports and exports.

Requirements

• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong administrative and communication skills.
• AA or BA degree in business and/or life science, or equivalent work experience.
• Previous coordination or logistics experience.
• Work authorization in the United States that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Platinum or Sage software.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and experience working with a quality management system.
