Director - IT PMO and Agile Delivery

Location: Hybrid work schedule based at the National Executive Office in Memphis, TN, United States.

What you will do

• Lead the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of Agile Delivery, the Technology Project Management Office, and Sourcing Integration.
• Direct Agile practices, including team leadership, methodology development, process optimization, tool adoption, impediment resolution, coaching, workshops, and training.
• Oversee the technology project portfolio, including prioritization, resource allocation, budgets, dependencies, reporting, benefits realization, scope, schedule, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction.
• Manage external technology service providers and partner with Vendor Management and Service Management to address performance, escalations, risks, and delivery issues.
• Oversee the Technology Capital Budget, investment planning, forecasting, and financial performance while managing complex initiatives across business units, teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Partner with the Senior Vice President/CIO on strategic planning and executive reporting, and help evolve delivery practices to use emerging technologies, including AI-enabled capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Eight or more years of progressive leadership experience in technology delivery, project management, Agile transformation, PMO leadership, or related disciplines.
• Strong understanding of application development, systems integration, databases, and enterprise technology environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading Agile, Project Management, Portfolio Management, and PMO functions within a complex organization.
• Deep knowledge of Agile principles, frameworks, methodologies, and organizational transformation practices.
• Working knowledge of Agile engineering practices, including Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and modern software delivery approaches.
• Experience leading high-performing teams, influencing all organizational levels, driving strategic initiatives, and managing large, complex portfolios and multiple enterprise initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong business process improvement skills using Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or similar methodologies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and operational execution.
• Ability to foster collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement across teams and the enterprise.
• Experience integrating AI-enabled solutions, automation, or emerging technologies into technology delivery practices.
