Project Manager (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote, but must be within close proximity to the National Capital Region (NCR), United States

Salary: $110,000–$145,000 per year

What you will do

• Manage the full life cycle of large-scale IT and cybersecurity projects, from planning and design through testing and implementation.
• Plan project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, deliverables, and quality management activities.
• Lead Agile delivery across SOC, CDM, CI/CD, security engineering, and operations teams.
• Coordinate project documentation, including charters, CONOPS, requirements, design documents, implementation plans, and test plans.
• Track risks, issues, milestones, and task completion while coordinating mitigation and timely resolution.
• Serve as liaison between federal stakeholders, technical teams, service providers, and subcontractors; present status and recommendations to senior government officials.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Active Public Trust 6c clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
• 7+ years of experience supporting IT in a Project Manager capacity.
• Active PMP certification is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of IT, Identity and Access Management, AWS GovCloud, ITIL, Agile delivery, and cybersecurity environments.
• Experience managing Agile development teams, complex technical projects, budgets, stakeholder communications, and delivery of projects on schedule and budget.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with NIST RMF, FedRAMP, OMB compliance, continuous monitoring, and POA&M remediation.
• Experience supporting large-scale federal civilian agency programs and hybrid SOC and engineering environments.
• ITIL Foundation, CSM or SAFe Agile, AWS Cloud Practitioner or higher, or CISSP certification.
