Director, Client Operations

Location: Structured hybrid work in the United States, with office attendance Tuesdays and Thursdays and remote work Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Candidates should ideally be near El Segundo or San Diego, California.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end delivery for large client engagements, including scope, cost estimation, risk management, status reporting, and quality.
• Coordinate internal teams, technical delivery teams, vendors, and external partners while resolving scope and ownership ambiguity.
• Run governance cadences covering status reporting, prioritization, dependencies, and escalation management.
• Support change management, organizational readiness, adoption planning, and post-launch enablement for platform implementations.
• Build trusted strategic relationships with clients and partner with Business Innovation leadership on account growth and new business initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop project managers while enforcing consistent program management standards.

Requirements

• 9–12+ years of project or program management experience, including at least 5 years in an agency or consultancy serving enterprise clients.
• Experience leading large, multi-workstream programs involving multiple stakeholders, vendor partners, and technical delivery teams.
• Technical project management experience delivering CMS, DXP, headless CMS, or composable content platform implementations.
• Executive presence and clear communication skills for presenting delivery status and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Experience supporting Agile/Scrum delivery and managing hybrid Agile-waterfall programs across engineering, creative, and strategy workstreams.
• Employment requires verification of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience leading or supporting change management workstreams for technology platform implementations.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Cloud, Contentful, Optimizely, or similar composable and DXP tools.
