Sr. ServiceNow Developer I (ServiceNow)

Location: Washington, DC; employment eligibility in the United States must be verified.

Salary: $158,000–$178,000 per year, plus possible performance-based bonuses and additional incentives.

What you will do

• Design, configure, develop, and enhance ServiceNow applications, Service Catalog offerings, workflows, and Service Portal experiences.
• Build Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, ACLs, and workflow automation to streamline business processes.
• Gather requirements and collaborate with Department of State customers, business analysts, administrators, and technical teams.
• Provide technical leadership on ServiceNow architecture, development standards, platform capabilities, security, scalability, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot application issues, analyze system performance, support multiple instances and domains, and maintain platform stability.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, testing, deployment, rollout, technical reviews, and stakeholder coordination.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance.
• 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience, including Service Catalog and custom application development.
• 5+ years of ServiceNow consulting experience.
• 3+ years of Service Portal development experience.
• Ability to work independently and as a technical team member.
• Experience working across multiple instances and domains while supporting internal and external customers.
• Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology to manage development work.
• Ability to advise functional and administrative teams on ServiceNow design, development, and best practices.
