Senior DevOps Engineer - ServiceNow Platform Team (ServiceNow)

Location: Hybrid, three days per week in the office at one of the hub locations: Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Denver, Colorado; or Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. Relocation assistance is not provided. Moderate travel is required.

Salary: $109,000–$141,000 annually, plus potential eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the technical design, development, configuration, and support of ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management solutions.
• Partner with the SPM Product Owner to refine requirements, recommend technical approaches, estimate work, and prioritize roadmap initiatives.
• Develop Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Data Policies, Flow Designer solutions, integrations, and ServiceNow APIs.
• Design and support REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and other approved ServiceNow integrations.
• Provide technical leadership across planning, development, testing, deployment, upgrades, and post-implementation support.
• Lead code reviews, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, mentoring, documentation, and technical debt reduction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong experience designing and configuring ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management, including Project Portfolio Management, Demand Management, Resource Management, Financial Management, Time Management, and Project Workspace.
• Advanced ServiceNow development experience with JavaScript, server-side and client-side scripting, Flow Designer, integrations, and APIs.
• Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, management information systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
• Ability to design scalable solutions, resolve complex technical issues, and collaborate with product owners, architects, business analysts, and stakeholders in an Agile environment.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in Strategic Portfolio Management.
• Active ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification.
• Experience with ServiceNow Platform Analytics, Automated Test Framework, platform upgrades, data migration, workspace experiences, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience mentoring developers or leading technical delivery.
