Developer Relations

Location: Remote within the United States and Canada; San Francisco Bay Area preferred

Annual base salary: $133,000–$186,000 USD for US-based roles; C$125,000–C$175,000 CAD for Canada-based roles

What you will do

• Grow the developer audience through campaigns and ongoing engagement on X, Reddit, and relevant online communities.
• Create technically accurate posts, threads, and short-form content about developer workflows, product capabilities, security, and AI agents.
• Build relationships with technical creators, coordinate campaign briefs and deliverables, manage approved budgets, and track performance.
• Support product launches with creator partnerships and social content that explain new capabilities to developers.
• Build an employee ambassador program and help engineers share technical insights, projects, and lessons learned.
• Participate in developer communities, amplify events, gather developer feedback, and improve campaigns using engagement, qualified traffic, and attributable signups.

Requirements

• Experience in developer marketing, technical social media, community growth, or developer relations.
• Demonstrated success growing a developer or technical audience, with a clear understanding of personal contribution and results.
• Strong writing skills and the ability to turn technical ideas into clear, engaging content.
• Technical fluency, including the ability to follow developer documentation, try tools or integrations, and collaborate comfortably with engineers.
• Experience coordinating creator partnerships or marketing campaigns involving multiple contributors, deadlines, and deliverables.

Nice to have

• Experience marketing developer tools, security products, infrastructure, or AI tools.
• An existing network of developer creators and community builders.
• Experience with employee advocacy, paid social experiments, or campaign attribution.
