Trainee Engineering

Location: León, Guanajuato, Mexico; onsite manufacturing environment

What you will do

• Support the preparation, review, and organization of technical documents, drawings, reports, and process information.
• Collect, validate, and analyze engineering and manufacturing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Participate in process reviews, shop-floor activities, tests, and technical follow-up under experienced guidance.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other functions on engineering activities and project deliverables.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and process reliability.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• No previous professional experience is required; academic projects, internships, and extracurricular activities are welcome but not mandatory.
• Basic understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, technical drawings, data analysis, or problem-solving methods gained through academic studies.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• English communication skills and willingness to continue developing them in a professional environment.
• Curiosity, analytical thinking, attention to detail, teamwork, initiative, and eagerness to learn in a manufacturing setting.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CAD, simulation, programming, or data visualization tools.
