Sr. Quality Assurance Tester I (AWS)

Location: Tysons Corner, VA, United States; employment requires verification of eligibility to work in the United States.

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 per year, plus possible performance-based bonuses and additional incentives.

What you will do

• Provide cross-team QA support for a mission-focused engineering and data initiative.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and cloud engineers to validate complex data systems.
• Validate data integrity, troubleshoot system workflows, and verify accuracy, security, performance, and quality standards.
• Test applications deployed to classified AWS cloud environments at IL6+.
• Isolate, reproduce, and track defects and verify fixes.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly.
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in an IT field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience evaluating and executing testing procedures to ensure software meets established quality standards.
• At least 5 years of experience developing and writing testing scripts, plans, and test automation.
• At least 7 years of experience in IT.
• Strong experience preparing complex data sets to test logic, error handling, and system workflows, including generating synthetic data sets or obfuscating production data sets for testing.
• Strong experience isolating, reproducing, and tracking defects and verifying fixes.
• Extensive experience testing applications that leverage cloud services and are deployed to classified AWS cloud environments at IL6+.
