Senior Quality Test Engineer

Location: On-site at the hirify.global Center in Maplewood, Minnesota, United States, at least four days per week. Travel may include up to 10% domestic or international travel. Relocation may be authorized.

Expected compensation: $145,676–$178,049, including base pay and variable incentive pay where applicable.

What you will do

• Develop comprehensive test strategies, plans, and cases for new and existing software and electronic safety products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Perform manual and automated testing for functionality, performance, security, and defect detection.
• Track testing progress, defect metrics, and overall quality status for stakeholders.
• Improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies while coordinating external resources and vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher, completed and verified before starting.
• At least seven years of experience in software or electronics quality and testing.
• Experience with QA or test engineering and strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Selenium, Appium, or similar test automation tools.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
• Experience with mobile application testing.
