Sr. Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Beaverton, Oregon, United States; regular day shift.

Salary: $115,800–$151,935 per year, depending on experience, skills, and background.

What you will do

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, system, performance, and reliability testing.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test solutions and frameworks.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, monitor results, and troubleshoot failures.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects and bug fixes.
• Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and mechanical engineers on reviews, sprint activities, quality risks, and process improvements.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree, 6 years with a master's degree, or 3 years with a PhD; equivalent experience is also accepted.
• Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience creating and executing test plans and test cases, plus defect tracking and test management tools.
• Knowledge of API and backend testing.
• Programming or scripting experience with Python or C#.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, or Jenkins.
• ISTQB or equivalent software testing certification.
• Experience in performance or reliability testing.
• Willingness to travel.
