Summer 2027 Compliance Advisory Intern (Public Sector)

Pay rate: $23.75–$79.80 per hour

What you will do

• Support public sector clients with compliance advisory and consulting engagements.
• Contribute to internal control assessments, grant compliance, and monitoring activities.
• Help develop policies, procedures, and process improvement recommendations.
• Research, analyze information, and document findings clearly and accurately.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop practical solutions that strengthen controls, mitigate risk, and improve processes.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting or a related business discipline at an accredited institution.
• At least one academic term must remain after completing the internship.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer-sponsored visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Accounting students must be on track to meet the educational requirements for CPA exam eligibility before starting a full-time Associate position.
• Must be at least 18 years old and submit a resume and unofficial transcripts.
• Strong research, analytical, communication, collaboration, organization, time management, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• Coursework in accounting or technology-related fields.
• Previous internship, academic, leadership, volunteer, customer service, or other relevant experience.
• Demonstrated interest in accounting or professional services.
