Supply Chain Manager (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead purchasing, logistics, shipping and receiving, inventory management, and kitting to meet production and customer commitments.
• Develop procurement strategies, optimize costs, improve supplier performance, and ensure material availability.
• Manage sourcing, negotiations, contracts, supplier metrics, audits, and ongoing supplier relationships.
• Coach purchasing personnel, develop talent, and improve operational processes and performance.
• Oversee inventory accuracy, material flow, cycle counts, receiving, freight coordination, corrective actions, and ecommerce fulfillment.
• Ensure customs compliance, maintain AS9100-compliant supplier records, serve as the ERP subject matter expert, and lead Lean improvements with Production, Sales, Quality, and Account Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant supply chain, procurement, or operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, supplier management, logistics, shipping and receiving, and inventory control.
• Experience with customs compliance, import/export processes, and applicable trade regulations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience leading teams, developing talent, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, resolve supplier challenges, and drive operational improvements.
• Familiarity with ecommerce platforms, supplier portals, and related supply chain tools.

Nice to have

• SyteLine experience.
• Ecommerce operations experience.
• Lean or Continuous Improvement experience, particularly with Toyota Production System methodologies.
