Inventory Specialist (Robotics)

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Track, receive, restock, and organize components, consumables, tools, and equipment for an engineering team of approximately 30 people.
• Set reorder thresholds and prepare accurate parts kits for builds, prototypes, repairs, and demonstrations.
• Coordinate inbound deliveries, inspect and log materials, and manage outbound shipments, returns, and RMAs.
• Maintain clean, labeled, ESD-safe storage for components, PCBAs, cables, and equipment.
• Run cycle counts and audits while keeping inventory data accurate in tracking systems.
• Support lab upkeep, equipment tracking, safety, and hardware team operations.

Requirements

• Experience managing physical inventory, including receiving, tracking, cycle counting, reorder thresholds, and vendor coordination.
• Experience with purchasing or procurement and working with suppliers or distributors.
• Familiarity with inventory or component management systems.
• Comfort handling electronic components, PCBAs, cables, and lab equipment, with working knowledge of ESD protocols.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, documentation, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 40 lbs as part of regular duties.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience in an electronics, engineering, or hardware lab.
• Experience with PLM or ERP tools such as Teamcenter or Arena.
• Basic soldering, rework, or electronics assembly experience.
• Exposure to robotics, electromechanical systems, or a hardware startup.
• Experience using Notion, Jira, or similar tracking and documentation tools.
