Buyer II (Robotics)

Location: Onsite at the Salem, Oregon office; all roles are U.S.-based. Applicants must have current authorization to work in the United States.

Base salary: $81,000–$105,000 USD annually.

hirify.global develops commercially deployed humanoid robots for warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers.

What you will do

• Manage purchase orders, supplier confirmations, delivery schedules, revisions, and execution issues.
• Coordinate supplier communications on shortages, schedule changes, engineering changes, recovery plans, and long-lead materials.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify risks affecting engineering builds and production.
• Maintain accurate ERP/MRP data, including pricing, lead times, supplier records, order status, and procurement parameters.
• Support RFQs, quote analysis, tactical cost savings, supplier onboarding, and invoice or shipment issue resolution.
• Coordinate material readiness for prototype, NPI, engineering validation, and production builds with Planning, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, and Global Supply Managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of purchasing experience in hardware, manufacturing, robotics, automotive, aerospace, or a similar environment.
• Experience with procurement execution, supplier delivery management, material planning, and prototype, NPI, or production builds.
• Strong ERP/MRP experience with systems such as Windchill, MISys, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, supplier-management, and prioritization skills.
• Current authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Experience purchasing PCBAs, cable harnesses, sensors, connectors, or other electronic components and assemblies.
• Experience working with electronics manufacturing services providers and contract manufacturers.
