Associate Inventory & Procurement Specialist (Robotics)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States; onsite role

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end purchasing and receiving for inventory items, including ordering, tracking, supplier follow-up, and stockroom organization.
• Escalate late or at-risk parts and resolve issues independently by finding alternatives, re-sourcing, and adjusting orders.
• Coordinate inbound shipments and receiving with freight forwarders and brokers for international orders.
• Track parts across BOM revisions, prototype builds, and monthly production targets.
• Design, implement, and continuously improve inventory tracking systems.
• Collaborate with build, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve robot production operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, inventory management, supply chain, or materials and production coordination, or a related degree with relevant experience.
• Experience supporting complex electromechanical or hardware products.
• Hands-on experience tracking parts across multiple product revisions and concurrent builds.
• Experience building or operating inventory systems using ERP, MRP, digital tools, spreadsheets, or Kanban.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, bias for action, and ownership.
• Employment authorization verification through E-Verify is required after accepting an offer.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting robotics or other complex electromechanical hardware in a prototype-to-production environment.
• Experience owning BOMs.
• Procurement and vendor-management experience across global and local suppliers, including ordering, expediting, receiving, and lead-time management.
