What you will do

• Translate forecasts into SAP, own MRP, and manage purchase plans to maintain inventory supply.
• Analyze consumption, reorder points, order quantities, inventory levels, shortages, and surpluses, recommending corrective actions.
• Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, engineering, quality, R&D, and internal customers on priorities, constraints, commitments, and recovery plans.
• Improve planning processes and systems, maintain ERP planning parameters, and serve as the site ERP superuser and supply chain subject-matter expert.
• Identify secondary sourcing needs and support capacity and S&OP discussions.
• Support new product development, product introductions, transition to volume manufacturing, specification changes, quality issues, and improvement projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in planning and procurement, preferably with ERP systems.
• 2+ years of experience in a medical device or regulated manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) programs, ISO requirements, and current GMP requirements.
• Effective listening, communication, collaboration, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent analytical, risk management, and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and lead through complexity and competing priorities.
• Self-motivated, with an innate sense of urgency and ability to complete tasks and projects under minimal supervision.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.

Nice to have

• Certification in Supply Chain or Operations is preferred.
