Project Manager (Data Analytics)

Location: Remote from Virginia, United States; U.S. citizenship required

Salary: $120,000–$125,000 per year

What you will do

• Prepare, review, and distribute weekly status reports, program management review materials, and project updates.
• Coordinate Scrum activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, Scrum of Scrums, and board maintenance.
• Manage onboarding and offboarding, resource allocation, planned-hours guidance, out-of-office tracking, and operational reminders.
• Support risk reviews, roadmap planning, contract justification, Privacy Agreement reviews, test management, vendor tracking, and 508 testing coordination.
• Facilitate team sync meetings, prepare presentations and demonstrations, and coordinate communications with federal leadership, CORs, and delivery teams.
• Lead new projects as needed and manage risks, budgets, resourcing, stakeholder engagement, and junior project team members.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of experience managing IT projects and operational tasks.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or similar project management methodologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication, leadership, team management, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle, PMP certification, and experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Experience supporting federal agencies; Department of Homeland Security experience is preferred.

• Professional services or federal consulting experience.
• Experience leading Agile development teams and using SharePoint.
• Financial analysis or budget tracking experience.
• Experience building scalable platforms, products, or services.
• 508 Trusted Tester or Scrum certifications such as CSM, PSM, or SAFe SSM.
