Senior Project Manager (AI)

Location: Brisbane, California, United States; onsite role. The separate remote salary category is limited to US-only roles.

Salary: $116,000–$145,000 USD annually for San Francisco Bay Area roles. A separate US-only remote salary range is $105,000–$131,000 USD.

What you will do

• Support planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of cross-functional projects across R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Operations, IT, and Commercial teams.
• Maintain project plans, timelines, action logs, risk registers, status reports, dashboards, roadmaps, prioritization tools, and governance materials.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and presentations, document outcomes, and track follow-up actions and decisions.
• Support portfolio planning, prioritization, dependency tracking, capacity visibility, leadership updates, and strategic planning discussions.
• Improve workflows, templates, documentation, reporting mechanisms, and PPMO processes using structured problem-solving.
• Enable adoption of Microsoft 365, project management tools, AI-powered tools, and automation for planning, documentation, reporting, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, including Biology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field, or another technical discipline.
• 0–3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, operations, biotechnology, healthcare, diagnostics, or a related area.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership of assigned work.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Ability to learn new technologies, systems, and processes quickly and adapt effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Exposure to project management methodologies and tools.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, or similar project management platforms.
• Familiarity with product development lifecycles and regulated environments such as FDA, CLIA, and ISO 13485.
• Exposure to portfolio management concepts, including project intake, prioritization, roadmap planning, resource visibility, governance, and executive-level reporting.
• CAPM, PMP, or another project management certification.
• Familiarity with AI tools and demonstrated interest in applying AI to improve business processes.
