Sr Engineer (S)

What you will do

• Provide architectural guidance, influence technology decisions, and define specifications for business-critical technology solutions.
• Build and evolve scalable, reusable design and content enablement platforms for enterprise use.
• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and support stable, scalable, secure, and resilient software solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders, architects, product teams, and enterprise stakeholders on platform planning and implementation.
• Contribute to engineering standards, templates, frameworks, CI/CD practices, vendor evaluations, and proof-of-concept work.
• Coach junior engineers, provide technical training, participate in code reviews and recruiting, and support team operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering environments, translating abstract concepts into detailed software engineering plans.
• Knowledge of industry-standard Software Development Life Cycle practices, version and revision control, systems design, security, and stability.
• Expertise developing scalable, reusable UI components with JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience configuring, customizing, and supporting Content Management Systems for efficient content creation and delivery.
• Experience with React, Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, GraphQL, Docker, AWS, GitHub Actions, Datadog, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, and Elasticsearch.
• Expertise debugging code and complex log files, querying databases for complex lookups and updates, and troubleshooting product defects.
• Ability to perform code reviews, manage large-scale projects, communicate complex ideas to broad audiences, and present technical documentation to senior management.
• Strong conceptual, critical-thinking, technical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
