Associate, Strategic Finance (AI)

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Partner cross-functionally with business leaders on business plan formation, long-range planning, and strategic alternatives.
• Drive monthly reporting, including closing actuals, budget-versus-actual analysis, and rolling reforecasts.
• Connect reported performance with revenue, headcount, and spending drivers.
• Build and maintain financial models, unit economics, and business cases for strategic decisions.
• Support long-range planning, board and management presentations, capital markets materials, and ad hoc analysis.
• Use AI tools to improve models, dashboards, and reporting architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 1–2+ years of experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, strategic finance, or an operating role at a high-growth startup.
• Excellent financial modeling and presentation skills, including the ability to build a model from a blank sheet.
• Fluency with AI tools and genuine interest in applying them to finance and strategy work.
• Ability to take initiative, operate independently, and act like an owner.
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapidly shifting priorities, including zero-to-one problems.
• Intellectual curiosity and ability to quickly learn unfamiliar industries, business models, and technical domains.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to distill complex analysis into a clear narrative.
• Willingness to work under pressure and a track record of integrity, sound judgment, and genuine collaboration.
