DevOps Engineer (CI/CD)

Location: On-site at the corporate headquarters in Tysons Corner, Virginia; employees work from the office four days a week. Sponsorship of new applicants for employment authorization or other immigration-related support is not available.

Base salary: $90,000–$135,000 USD per year.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
• Build and manage infrastructure with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• Own provisioning, configuration, and deployment automation for supported services.
• Manage build and release environments, including virtual machines, containers, and cloud resources.
• Deploy and maintain services with Kubernetes, including RKE2 and AKS, ArgoCD, and GitOps practices.
• Monitor reliability, performance, scalability, and security; troubleshoot pipeline, infrastructure, and deployment issues and participate in the on-call rotation after ramp-up.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Build & Release Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, such as C#, Java, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
• Solid scripting experience with PowerShell and/or Bash.
• Working experience with Azure and/or AWS.
• Working experience with Kubernetes or another container orchestration platform.
• Ability to administer Windows Server and/or Linux systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues and drive them to resolution with limited direction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including communication with engineers outside the DevOps organization.
