Staff DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid role requiring residence in one of hirify.global's designated US geohubs: San Francisco/Bay Area, New York, or Boston. Geo-hub employees generally work from the office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and may work from home the rest of the week.

What you will do

• Architect and maintain scalable, reliable, secure, and developer-friendly infrastructure.
• Develop software and systems that improve developer experience, product reliability, quality, and delivery speed.
• Establish technical direction and best practices for infrastructure, observability, and CI/CD.
• Lead complex technical initiatives and collaborate with Security on regulatory compliance.
• Mentor DevOps and Software Engineers through design reviews and technical guidance.
• Participate in planned periodic on-call duties outside normal working hours.

Requirements

• Five or more years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Extensive experience architecting, deploying, and scaling production systems on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience and strong knowledge of GitOps tools such as ArgoCD.
• Experience with Crossplane, Terraform, observability, automation, performance engineering, and CI/CD.
• Programming proficiency in Python, Go, or another programming language.
• Experience with API Gateway or Service Mesh, SSO, RBAC, networking, and security.
