Cloud/Network Infrastructure Engineer, Senior (AWS)

Location: Remote within the United States; must be a US citizen and able to obtain Public Trust Suitability

What you will do

• Design, build, operate, and improve secure AWS environments across commercial and GovCloud accounts.
• Manage Terraform infrastructure-as-code, remote state, policy enforcement, CI/CD automation, and cross-account IAM.
• Provision and operate EKS clusters, Helm add-ons, ingress, service connectivity, and IAM roles for service accounts.
• Configure and troubleshoot VPC networking, routing, TGWs, DNS, DHCP, endpoints, NACLs, security groups, TLS, and load balancing.
• Support migrations, production readiness, observability, incident resolution, change control, audit evidence, and operational documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with application, security, network, DevSecOps, and program teams.

Requirements

• US citizenship and eligibility to obtain Public Trust Suitability.
• Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of relevant experience.
• 6+ years designing, securing, and maintaining AWS infrastructure, including CAWS, GovCloud, or equivalent environments.
• 5+ years of experience with hybrid/cloud networking, Terraform, Kubernetes networking, and network security.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, TLS, routing, subnetting, NACLs, endpoints, and load balancers.
• Experience with Python or Bash, YAML/JSON templating, Git workflows, FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53, and ATO documentation.

Nice to have

• DHS CISA mission experience or federal secure cloud operations background.
• Experience with SSPs, FISMA accreditation, multi-account AWS, IAM, SCPs, segmentation, and Zero Trust architecture.
• Familiarity with Elastic, ScienceLogic, AppDynamics, ACM, ACM-PCA, and AWS professional certifications.
