Senior BI Analyst / Power Platform SME

Location: Hybrid, onsite once per week in Reston, Virginia, United States; final-round face-to-face interview required in Reston, Virginia.

hirify.global is hiring for a 12-month contract-to-permanent role within a Strategy and Operations team.

What you will do

• Architect, develop, and deploy advanced business intelligence visualizations and reporting solutions across Microsoft Power Platform.
• Design and build complex, AI-ready semantic models for scalable enterprise AI and automation initiatives.
• Create custom business applications and automated workflows for operational and strategic processes.
• Develop advanced SQL queries, relational database tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Integrate data from disparate corporate databases and external platforms across varying schemas and environments.
• Collaborate with strategy and operations leaders to convert raw data into actionable executive insights.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in senior business intelligence or data analytics roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on expertise with Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Copilot Studio across the Microsoft Power Platform Suite.
• Strong proficiency with MicroStrategy for enterprise reporting.
• Advanced relational database skills, expert-level SQL querying, and database modeling capabilities.
• Proven experience integrating diverse data sources across varying schemas and environments.

Nice to have

• Experience implementing AI chatbots integrated with Power BI.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric and cloud data engineering.
• Professional experience in the healthcare payor industry.
• Exposure to AWS data ecosystems.
• Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, or Azure Data Engineer.
