Business Planning and Analyst

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; onsite. No relocation. No travel.

Salary: $90,400–$102,850 annually.

What you will do

• Develop business plans and recommendations from complex data and business analysis.
• Construct statistical and financial models to forecast business performance.
• Define performance metrics, compare actual results with forecasts, and develop processes to address gaps.
• Manage market research projects, synthesize trends, and identify next steps.
• Identify and cultivate business opportunities and relationships to increase revenue and profitability.
• Work with business leaders on strategic plans, risk and return analysis, and priority projects.

Requirements

• Four-year or graduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, a related discipline, or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically 4–7 years of experience in strategy, planning, operations, market research, or a related field; alternatively, an advanced degree with 3–5 years of experience.
• Experience with analytics, business intelligence, business strategies, competitive intelligence, customer insights, data analysis, data visualization, economics, market intelligence, market research, marketing, statistics, and new product development.
• Knowledge of dashboards and analytical tools, including Power BI, Python, R, SQL, and Tableau.
• Effective communication, results orientation, learning agility, digital fluency, and customer centricity.

Nice to have

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
